How beautiful is this family?! They made the commute up to meet me at Blush & Bee Flower Farm in Aldergrove... all the way from Bellingham, WA! They were referred to me by one of my other lovely clients, which always means the world to me and brings a little extra pressure to live up to the hype! Someone has trusted me with their own photos and has gone so far as to recommend me to friends, and I take that so seriously. It's such an honour to be trusted to capture such important memories, and I'm always over the moon if someone loves their experience enough to recommend me to their friends and family, too.
Big sis was a bit tired since it was close to her bedtime, but she did incredibly well! We had to work pretty hard to get her to give her baby brother a kiss, but we got there in the end. She had so many sweet cuddles for her dad and was having a grand ol' time chasing him around while I took photos of mom and baby brother. She got to pick out her own bows and she was so very decisive in terms of which ones she wanted – two year olds are just the best. So much sass and personality but there's still some baby left in them too.
Special shout out to Toni at Blush & Bee for letting us use her beautiful flower fields. September is one of my favourite times of year because we get to enjoy that last little bit of summer, it's not too hot, and the dahlias and zinnias are still in full bloom!
