FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

A. With the exception of mini sessions, you will always receive at least 50 fully edited images. Honestly, it's usually a lot more, because I have no self-control! For elopements you can expect a minimum of 100 fully edited images.

How should we dress for our session?

A. Go neutral! Pops of colour can be great, but make sure that everyone is coordinated, and try to stay away from clashing patterns. Timeless styles are always best, and make sure to remember little details (like your hubby's phone in his pocket).

What’s the best time of day for a session?

A. My favourites are golden hour (2 hours before sunset, give or take), or morning (2 hours after sunrise, give or take). Weather plays a role, too, as direct, harsh sunlight can be more difficult to shoot in (squinting anyone?).

What happens if we need to reschedule a booked session?

A. Someone woke up with the sniffles or the weather isn't cooperating? No problem. I'm more than happy to reschedule your session, no questions asked, at a time that will work for you and yours.
As an additional note, I kindly ask that you reschedule if anyone in your family/close contacts is sick. I have an immunocompromised family member and am doing my best to keep them healthy. Thank you for your understanding! :)

Do you retouch/photoshop images?

A. Generally speaking, I don't. I want to capture you just as you are! I find that too much editing can make images appear less real and candid. That being said, if you have an obvious blemish or something of that nature, I will often do a quick 'spot correction'.

How long will it take for me to receive my gallery?

A. I certainly don't like to wait, so I don't want you to have to either! I strive to deliver all galleries within two weeks. For smaller sessions, I generally have final edits ready within 48 hours. At the very least, you'll always get a sneak peek within 24 hours – that's my promise to you!
